Children have great creativity. They try to express their feelings effectively whenever there is an opportunity. My granddaughter Saumya, and her friend Sanvi, found a little cat while wandering in the society while playing. They were instantly attracted by her cuteness and went near the cat. They became friends in no time.
Nowadays Saumya and Sanvi are constantly talking of the cat, and they have together composed a little poem for their new friend!
I really liked the poem composed by them. The poem is presented here for the readers of goodworld.in.
Saumya also has her youtube channel Saumyas corner. If you like the poem, you can subscribe to her youtube channel as well!
A Special Bond
We found a little cat
Walking on the road
We loved the the way she sat
Staring at the road
We went a little near
But her face had fear
We called her to us
But she didn’t make a fuss
She looked at us
with curious eyes
As though a friend
Would say hies and byes
We stroked her gently
She looked very friendly
She cuddled us with love
With her paws like a glove
She had soft fur
My eyes felt blur
She was so cute
As relaxing as a flute
Then we thought of a name
Not one but three
Curo as she was
Full of curiosity
Biscuits ’cause that’s
What we had in our hand
Sunshine as she makes us
Feel very glad
We put three biscuits
All in a row
And named those biscuits
Sunshine, Biscuits, Curo
She chose two of them
Sunshine and Curo
Then we had a go again
And Sunshine ho ho ho
We had a lot of fun
But it’s time to go home
And then she said ‘meow!’
As though ‘See you soon!’
